Adding Images To Survey Question

There are two ways to add images to your survey question. 

  1. Upload your image to your account and use the image in your question
  2. Use URL of an image from external server

Upload your image to your account and use the image in your question

You can use the image icon in the question editor to add images to your question. Here is how you can upload and use an image in your question:

  1. After you are successfully logged in, select the survey you want to update. 
  2. Click on “Edit Survey”
  3. Click on “Step 2: Build” 
  4. Click on the “Edit” button of the question you want to add the image

  5. In the question text editor, click on where you want the image to appear. Then click on the insert image icon in the question editor.

  6. In the popup window, click on the folder icon. This will open the File Manager.

  7. Click on the Upload button

  8. Drag and drop your image into the file area OR Click on “Add Files” to add your image
  9. After selecting the image from your computer, click “Upload”

  10. When the upload is complete, Click “Close”.

  11. Now in the file manager, click on the image you just uploaded to select it.

  12. This will take you back to the Insert/Edit image popup. Adjust the dimensions of the image if needed. Then click the OK button.
    Note
    - If the image is too big or too small and you wish to adjust the dimension, right click on the image and select “Insert Image”. Then adjust the dimensions and click “OK”.

    - If you wish to view the question area in full screen mode, click on the “full screen” icon in the editor. To exist “full screen” mode, click on the Full screen icon again.
  13. Click on “Save and Close” to apply changes.

Use URL of an image from external server

You must upload your image to your own web server or to an image hosting service before you can add it to your survey question.
  1. After you are successfully logged in, select the survey you want to update. 
  2. Click on “Edit Survey”
  3. Click on “Step 2: Build” 
  4. Click on the “Edit” button of the question you want to add the image

  5. In the question text editor, click on where you want the image to appear. Then click on the insert image icon in the question editor.

  6. In the popup window, past the URL of the image in the Source textbox
  7. Adjust the dimensions of the image if needed. Then click the OK button.
    Note
    - If the image is too big or too small and you wish to adjust the dimension, right click on the image and select “Insert Image”. Then adjust the dimensions and click “OK”.
