Question 1

How do I create a free online questionnaire?

Accepted Answer

With Enquete.com you can create a free online questionnaire in under 5 minutes. Sign up for a free account, pick one of the 100+ questionnaire templates or start from scratch, add your questions, and send the questionnaire by email or link. No credit card required.

Question 2

What is the difference between a questionnaire and a survey?

Accepted Answer

A questionnaire is the set of questions you write to collect information. A survey is the broader research process: from writing the questionnaire to sending it, collecting responses, and analyzing the results. With Enquete.com you do all of this in one platform.

Question 3

Can I create a questionnaire without technical knowledge?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enquete.com is designed for users without a technical background. With the drag-and-drop questionnaire builder you can create a professional questionnaire in a few minutes. Pick a template, adjust the questions, and you are ready to send.

Question 4

Is creating a questionnaire with Enquete.com GDPR-compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. All data is stored on secure European servers. Enquete.com is fully GDPR compliant. Respondents can answer anonymously and you always remain the owner of your own data.

Question 5

How much does it cost to create an online questionnaire?

Accepted Answer

Enquete.com offers a free plan you can start with right away. Paid plans are available from €20 per month for extended features such as unlimited responses, your own branding, and team access.

Question 6

Which types of questions can I add to my questionnaire?

Accepted Answer

Enquete.com supports a wide range of question types, including multiple choice, open questions, scale questions, NPS questions, matrix questions, ranking questions, date and time questions, and contact forms. This lets you build a questionnaire that fits your research exactly.

Question 7

What is the Trainer Suite?

Accepted Answer

The Trainer Suite is a unique feature of Enquete.com that lets trainers and L&D professionals manage trainings as a standalone object — including pre- and post-measurements, longitudinal reports, and verified public reports.

Question 8

Can I still access the legacy Enquete platform and my existing survey data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Existing customers can continue accessing the legacy Enquete platform without losing any historical data. All previously created surveys, responses, and exports remain available. A direct link to the legacy login page is provided for uninterrupted business continuity.

Question 9

Why can’t I log in to my Enquete account?

Accepted Answer

Login issues are typically caused by an incorrect email/password, an unverified email address, or attempting to log in to the wrong platform (legacy vs. new). If your email is not verified, a “Verify Email” option appears after a failed login attempt so you can confirm your email and activate access. Enterprise users using SSO should follow their organization’s identity provider process.

Question 10

I can't find my survey / my survey has disappeared. What should I do?

Accepted Answer

In most cases, the survey was created under a different email address, workspace, or account. Confirm you’re logged into the correct account and organization, and that you’re using the correct platform (legacy vs. new). If you still can’t locate it, contact support for account recovery assistance.

Question 11

I’ve forgotten my password. How do I reset it?

Accepted Answer

Use the “Forgot Password” option on the login page. A secure password reset link will be sent to your registered email address. For enterprise accounts using SSO, password changes are managed through your identity provider.

Question 12

How do I delete my Enquete account?

Accepted Answer

Log in, go to Account Settings, and select “Delete Account.” Please note that deleting your account permanently removes all surveys and response data. Enterprise customers should contact support first if they have retention or compliance requirements.

Question 13

Are surveys created in Enquete.com anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Surveys are anonymous by default as long as you do not collect identifying information (such as name, email address, phone number, or employee ID) in the survey. Anonymity can change if you send surveys via personalized email invitations or enable response tracking, where responses may be linked to recipients for analytics and follow-up workflows.

Question 14

Can I show different questions based on how respondents reply?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enquete supports survey logic (skip logic and branching), allowing respondents to follow different paths based on their answers. This helps personalize surveys, reduce completion time, and improve response quality.

Question 15

How do I identify individual respondents?

Accepted Answer

You can identify respondents by asking for their name/email directly in the survey, or by sending personalized email invitations via Enquete’s email campaign manager. When using email invitations, responses can be linked to recipient email addresses in the individual responses section.

Question 16

How do I create multilingual surveys?

Accepted Answer

Create your master survey, duplicate it, and change the survey language in Settings. System messages (such as buttons and default labels) are translated automatically. Your custom questions and answer options must be translated manually to match each language version.

Question 17

Do you store incomplete survey responses?

Accepted Answer

Yes. If a respondent leaves before completing the survey, any completed pages are saved as a partial response (depending on your survey pagination). You can filter completed vs. incomplete responses in your reports and exports.

Question 18

Do you automatically renew subscriptions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly or annual basis depending on your plan. Auto-renewal ensures uninterrupted access and data continuity. You can cancel auto-renewal at any time in your account settings.

Question 19

Can I pay monthly?

Accepted Answer

Yes. We offer monthly and annual subscriptions. Some premium or enterprise plans may be available only as annual contracts.

Question 20

Can I pay by invoice?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Invoice-based billing is available, especially for enterprise, government, and larger organizations. Please contact us via our contact page to arrange invoicing and billing details.

Question 21

Can I use Enquete.com for free?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enquete.com offers a free plan intended for testing and small-scale usage. Advanced features such as data export, advanced filtering, branding removal, email invitations, and higher response limits are available on paid plans.

Question 22

Are you GDPR compliant?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enquete is GDPR compliant. We provide EU-based data storage, secure processing, and transparency through our privacy and security documentation. Enterprise customers can request a Data Processing Agreement (DPA).

Question 23

Where do you store survey data?

Accepted Answer

All survey data is stored securely within the European Union to support GDPR compliance and enterprise security requirements. When you use an AI feature, such as AI summaries or AI analysis, the results needed for that request are sent to our AI provider to be processed. AI summaries for recurring surveys and 360° feedback are off until you switch them on.

Question 24

What is a recurring survey?

Accepted Answer

A recurring survey sends the same questions to the same audience on a fixed rhythm, for example weekly or monthly. Enquete.com opens and closes each round automatically, sends the invitations and reminders, and shows how the scores develop from round to round.

Question 25

How often can a recurring survey be sent?

Accepted Answer

You choose the rhythm yourself: every week or every few weeks, every month or every few months, or once a year. You also set the day and time, how long a round stays open, and whether a round that falls on a public holiday moves to the next working day or is skipped.

Question 26

How do I see whether results have changed between rounds?

Accepted Answer

The trend page shows the score of every tracked question per round, with the margin of error. A difference is only marked as a real change when it falls outside that margin, so a small random movement is not mistaken for a trend. After each round you also receive a summary by e-mail.

Question 27

Are answers in a recurring survey anonymous?

Accepted Answer

You choose per recurring survey whether answers are by name, confidential or anonymous. For confidential and anonymous surveys, results of a group are only shown when enough people responded, only the date of a response is kept and not the time, no IP address or browser details are stored, and individual responses cannot be opened.

Question 28

Can I get a warning when a score drops?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You can set alerts on a question score or on the response rate, for example when a score drops by more than a set amount or falls below a threshold. When a round closes and the rule applies, the people you chose receive an e-mail.

Question 29

What is 360° feedback?

Accepted Answer

With 360° feedback an employee receives feedback from several sides: a self-assessment, the manager, colleagues, direct reports and, if you want, people from outside the organisation. The report sets the employee's self-image against how others see them.

Question 30

Who chooses the people who give feedback?

Accepted Answer

That is up to you. The employee can nominate their own raters, with or without approval by the manager, or HR assigns them. You set per group how many raters are needed at least and at most, and a manager can add or remove people before the invitations go out.

Question 31

Is 360° feedback anonymous?

Accepted Answer

The self-assessment and the manager's feedback are recognisable. Colleagues, direct reports and external raters are only shown as a group, and only when at least three of them responded; a group that is too small is merged, hidden or left out, depending on what you chose. For every response only the date is kept, no IP address or browser details are stored, and individual responses cannot be opened.

Question 32

What does a 360° report show?

Accepted Answer

The report shows the scores per question and per competency, a radar chart of self-image against the view of others, blind spots and hidden strengths, and the written feedback. It can be downloaded as a PDF, and HR gets a dashboard with the results of all employees in the cycle. If you switch on AI summaries, the report also gets a summary in plain words and a conversation guide for the manager.

Question 33

When does an employee see their 360° report?

Accepted Answer

You decide. The manager can receive the report first and release it after discussing it with the employee, the employee can receive it directly, or the report stays with HR only. A report that is not released can also be released automatically after a number of days.

Question 34

What is Trainer Suite?

Accepted Answer

Trainer Suite is the part of Enquete.com for trainers, training companies, HR teams and learning and development teams that deliver the same training more than once. It collects feedback from every training session, compares the results over time and produces verified reports you can share with clients or internal stakeholders.

Question 35

How is Trainer Suite different from a regular survey?

Accepted Answer

A regular survey stands on its own and works well when you collect feedback once. In Trainer Suite you set up the feedback once per training and reuse it for every session, so you no longer duplicate and rename surveys for each date. Each session collects its own responses, and the results can also be viewed together for the whole training.

Question 36

What is the difference between a training and a session?

Accepted Answer

A training is the main course or programme: its name, description, language, learning objectives and survey. A session is one specific delivery of that training, with its own date, time, location or meeting link and attendees. You create the training once and add a session every time you deliver it.

Question 37

How do I create a training in Trainer Suite?

Accepted Answer

Open the Trainer Dashboard and start a new training. You enter the basics such as name, description, language, duration and whether it is in person or virtual, add the learning objectives, let Enquete generate the survey questions and set when the survey is sent. After creating the training you publish it, so participants can be invited and reports can be generated.

Question 38

How are the feedback questions for a training created?

Accepted Answer

Enquete uses AI to generate the survey questions from the learning objectives you entered and the survey type you chose. We recommend adding at least three clear objectives. If you are not satisfied you can regenerate the questions, and you can edit them in full in the question builder after the training has been saved.

Question 39

Which survey types does Trainer Suite offer?

Accepted Answer

Trainer Suite follows the Kirkpatrick training evaluation model and offers four survey types. Reaction measures how participants experienced the training, Learning measures the knowledge, skills and confidence they gained, and Behaviour measures whether they can apply what they learned in their work. Reaction + Learning combines the first two and works well as a default.

Question 40

How do I add attendees to a training session?

Accepted Answer

There are three ways: upload a CSV file, paste the e-mail addresses, or select an existing group, for example from a previous session. Enquete needs the e-mail addresses of the attendees to send them the feedback survey after the session.

Question 41

When is the feedback survey sent to attendees?

Accepted Answer

You choose per training or per session: when you mark the session as complete, automatically right after the session ends, or at a specific date and time. You can also set a reminder, a number of days after the survey was sent, for attendees who have not responded yet.

Question 42

Can training feedback be anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Yes, in two ways. Create the session without attendee e-mail addresses and share the link or QR code, so nobody is invited personally. Or switch on the Anonymous survey setting of the training's survey in the question builder; no e-mail address is then stored or shown with a response. The Trainer Suite dashboards show totals, averages and scores, never who gave a response.

Question 43

What is a Verified Training Report and how do I share it?

Accepted Answer

A Verified Training Report is a shareable summary of how a training performed, based on the feedback collected through Enquete. It shows results such as satisfaction, recommendation, response and selected participant comments, together with verification details such as a report ID and the data source. Publish the training, open its report card and copy the shareable link; the recipient can view the report without logging in.

Question 44

What is a Standard Webhook in Enquete.com?

Accepted Answer

A Standard Webhook is an automated connection between Enquete.com and another application. When a selected event occurs in a survey, for example a completed response, Enquete sends the data as an HTTP POST request to an address you provide. You can use it to send responses to a CRM, store them in your own database, notify a team or start a reporting workflow.

Question 45

What do I need before I set up a webhook?

Accepted Answer

Standard Webhooks are intended for organisations with a developer or technical team. Your receiving application needs a publicly accessible HTTPS endpoint that accepts HTTP POST requests with a JSON body, a safe place to store the webhook secret and a way to verify the signature of incoming requests. Localhost addresses, private URLs and pages behind a login cannot receive deliveries.

Question 46

Which events can trigger a webhook?

Accepted Answer

You can choose between survey.new.response, which fires when a new response is received, and survey.response.completed, which fires when a respondent completes the survey. Each webhook is connected to one survey and one event type, so for several surveys you create a separate webhook per survey.

Question 47

How do I test a webhook and check whether deliveries arrived?

Accepted Answer

Each webhook has a test button that sends a test request to your endpoint and shows the HTTP status it returned; a status between 200 and 299 means success. The delivery logs list every request with its payload, response status, response body, error message, duration and attempt number, and can be filtered on successful or failed deliveries.

Question 48

How does my application know that a webhook really comes from Enquete.com?

Accepted Answer

Every webhook has its own secret, and each request carries a signature that your application verifies with that secret. Treat the secret like a password: keep it on the server, for example in an environment variable or a secret manager, and never in frontend code, public repositories or shared documents.

Question 49

Can I connect Enquete.com with Zapier?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Enquete.com is publicly available on Zapier, so you can connect your surveys with thousands of applications without writing code. You can create the workflow directly in Zapier or open the Zapier integration from the Integrations menu in your Enquete account.

Question 50

How do I send survey responses to Google Sheets with Zapier?

Accepted Answer

Create a Zap with Enquete as the trigger, connect your Enquete account and select the survey and the event. Add Google Sheets as the action, choose Create Spreadsheet Row, select your spreadsheet and match each Enquete field to a column. Complete the survey at least once beforehand, because Zapier needs a sample response to find the fields, then test and publish the Zap.

Question 51

Can I connect Enquete.com with Make.com?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The Make.com integration works in the same way as the Zapier integration. You choose Enquete as the trigger of a scenario, connect your Enquete account, select the survey and the event, and then add the applications that should receive the response, such as a spreadsheet, a CRM or a messaging tool.

Question 52

Which events can start a Zapier or Make.com workflow?

Accepted Answer

Two events are available: survey.new.response starts the workflow when Enquete receives a new response, and survey.response.completed starts it when a respondent completes the survey. Use survey.response.completed when you only want to send finished responses to another application.

Question 53

Should I use Zapier, Make.com or a Standard Webhook?

Accepted Answer

Choose Zapier or Make.com when you want to connect Enquete.com to other applications without writing code, for example to add responses to a spreadsheet, notify your team or create a follow-up task. Choose a Standard Webhook when you have a developer and want to receive the response data directly in your own system.

Question 54

What is the difference between an anonymous and a confidential survey?

Accepted Answer

In an anonymous recurring survey a response is not linked to the person at all: Enquete.com only knows that someone answered, so reminders stop. In a confidential survey the link is kept, so a person's answers can be compared between rounds, but nobody at your organisation sees answers by name. In both, results of small groups are hidden.

Question 55

What does the Anonymous survey setting do in a regular survey?

Accepted Answer

With the setting switched on, no e-mail address is stored or shown with a response, only the date of a response is kept and not the time, and the device is stored as a one-way code. You can still open each response, without knowing who gave it. With the setting off, Enquete.com keeps the e-mail address and the exact times, so you can follow up with individual people.

Question 56

Does Enquete.com store my IP address?

Accepted Answer

Not with your answers, for any survey. For a survey that is not anonymous, the IP address and browser are recorded with your invitation at the moment you answer through an e-mail link. For an anonymous survey, a confidential recurring survey and 360° feedback they are not recorded.

Question 57

Can I see individual responses of an anonymous recurring survey or a 360° survey?

Accepted Answer

No. For an anonymous or confidential recurring survey and for every 360° survey, the list of respondents, the page of one respondent and the raw Excel or SPSS export are not available. You read the results in the round reports, the trend and the 360° reports, which only show groups of the minimum size.

Question 58

Why do I get a reminder if the survey is anonymous?

Accepted Answer

Enquete.com knows who has not answered yet, so it can remind them, but not what anyone answered. In an anonymous survey the invitation and the response are kept apart: when you answer, your invitation is marked as answered without recording which response is yours.

Question 59

What are AI summaries and where do I see them?

Accepted Answer

AI summaries explain results in plain words. In a recurring survey they appear on the round report and the trend page, with themes from the written answers and suggested actions, and in the summary e-mail after a round. In 360° feedback they appear on the employee's report, with a conversation guide for the manager, and on the HR dashboard.

Question 60

What data is sent to the AI, and is that on by default?

Accepted Answer

AI summaries are off until you switch them on for a survey. When they are on, the scores and written answers that the report already shows are sent to our AI provider. Results of groups below the minimum size and names are never sent, and in 360° feedback comments removed by HR are not sent either.

Question 61

In which language is an AI summary written?

Accepted Answer

In your own preferred language, as set in your user profile, or in English when you have not set one. This is independent of the language of the survey, so colleagues with different languages each read the summary in their own language.

Question 62

Does HR get a warning when a 360° cycle is falling behind?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Shortly before each deadline HR receives one e-mail listing who is behind: employees who have not chosen their raters, managers who have not approved a list, and people who are still short of feedback. HR is also told when a report has been waiting to be released. These e-mails never contain scores or answers.

Question 63

How can a manager prepare for the 360° conversation?

Accepted Answer

The manager receives the report before the employee, so there is time to read it. With AI summaries switched on, the report includes a conversation guide with points to raise, three open questions to ask and a draft development plan. The guide is only visible to the manager and HR.

Question 64

What do webhooks, Zapier and Make receive for an anonymous survey?

Accepted Answer

They receive the response and its answers at the moment it is given, but without what could identify the person: the invitation it came from, the e-mail address and the device fingerprint are left empty, and only the date is sent. The fields stay in place, so existing automations keep working.
