Zapier allows you to connect Enquete with thousands of applications without writing code.

You can automatically send Enquete survey responses to Google Sheets, CRM systems, email platforms, project-management tools, reporting applications, and other services used by your organisation.

For example, when someone completes a survey, Zapier can add the response to a spreadsheet, notify your team, create a follow-up task, or update a customer record.

Enquete is publicly available on Zapier. You can create your workflow directly in Zapier or open the embedded Zapier integration from your Enquete account.

Technical documentation: For the latest information about the integration, available events, authentication, and response data, see the official Enquete Zapier Documentation.

What is Zapier?

Zapier is an automation platform that connects applications and transfers information between them automatically.

An automated workflow in Zapier is called a Zap. A Zap contains:

  • A trigger: The event that starts the workflow.
  • An action: The task Zapier performs after the trigger.

For example:

Completed survey response in Enquete
→ Create a new row in Google Sheets

Benefits of connecting Enquete with Zapier

You can use the Enquete Zapier integration to:

  • Add survey responses automatically to Google Sheets.
  • Send leads or feedback to a CRM.
  • Notify your team through Slack, Microsoft Teams, or email.
  • Create follow-up tasks in Trello, Asana, ClickUp, or Monday.com.
  • Send response data to reporting, marketing, or support tools.
  • Reduce manual exports and repetitive data entry.

Supported Enquete events

Event Description
survey.new.response Starts the Zap when Enquete receives a new survey response.
survey.response.completed Starts the Zap when a respondent completes a survey.

Recommended: Use survey.response.completed when you only want to send finished survey responses to another application.

Example: Send completed responses to Google Sheets

In this example, every completed Enquete response will automatically create a new row in Google Sheets.

Zapier receives the completed response
                    ↓

Before you start

Make sure you have:

  • An active Enquete account.
  • A survey with at least one completed response.
  • A Zapier account.
  • A Google account with access to Google Sheets.
  • A spreadsheet prepared with column headings.

Example headings include:

Submitted At | Survey Name | Respondent Email | Rating | Comment

Complete the survey at least once before configuring the Zap. Zapier needs a sample response to identify the available fields.

How to connect Enquete with Google Sheets

Step 1: Open the Zapier integration

From your Enquete dashboard, go to Integrations and open Zapier.

You can also sign in directly to Zapier and create a new Zap.

Step 2: Select Enquete as the trigger

Search for and select Enquete as the trigger application.

Select survey.response.completed if you only want completed survey responses.

Step 3: Connect and configure Enquete

Connect your Enquete account and select the survey you want to use.

Make sure you connect the account that contains the selected survey.

Step 4: Test the trigger

Ask Zapier to retrieve a recent Enquete response.

If no sample is found, complete the selected survey and run the test again.

Step 5: Add Google Sheets as the action

Select Google Sheets as the action application and choose Create Spreadsheet Row.

Step 6: Select your spreadsheet

Connect your Google account and select the spreadsheet and worksheet where the responses should be stored.

Step 7: Map the response fields

Match each Enquete field to the correct Google Sheets column.

Google Sheets column Enquete data
Submitted At Response submission date
Survey Name Survey title
Respondent Email Respondent email address
Rating Rating or score answer
Comment Open-text answer

Step 8: Test and publish the Zap

Test the Google Sheets action and confirm that the response appears under the correct columns.

When the test is successful, publish and turn on the Zap.

Step 9: Test the live workflow

Submit a new response through the live Enquete survey and confirm that a new row appears in Google Sheets.

Recommended setup tips

  • Use clear and descriptive spreadsheet column names.
  • Test the Zap with a realistic completed survey response.
  • Use survey.response.completed for finished submissions.
  • Avoid renaming or deleting spreadsheet columns after publishing the Zap.
  • Test the Zap again after changing survey questions or spreadsheet columns.
  • Review the Zapier task history when a workflow fails.

Troubleshooting

Zapier cannot find a sample response

Confirm that the selected survey has at least one completed response. Check that the correct Enquete account, survey, and trigger event are selected.

Responses appear in the wrong columns

Open the Google Sheets action and review the field mappings. Make sure every Enquete value is connected to the correct spreadsheet column.

New responses are not appearing

Check that:

  • The Zap is published and turned on.
  • The Enquete and Google connections are still active.
  • The correct survey and worksheet are selected.
  • The spreadsheet and its column headings have not been deleted or renamed.

Review the Zapier task history for additional error details.

Some answers are missing

Answers may be empty when a respondent skips an optional question, survey logic hides the question, or the field was not mapped in Zapier.

After adding or changing survey questions, test the trigger again and update the field mappings.

Duplicate rows are created

Check whether more than one active Zap is connected to the same survey and spreadsheet. Also confirm that similar workflows are not using both supported Enquete events.

Other workflow examples

  • Enquete to Slack: Notify your team when a low rating is submitted.
  • Enquete to a CRM: Create or update a lead from a completed form.
  • Enquete to Asana: Create a follow-up task from negative feedback.
  • Enquete to Microsoft Teams: Notify a team when a training evaluation is completed.
  • Enquete to email: Send an alert when an important response is received.

Make sure any personal information sent to another application is handled according to your organisation's privacy and data-protection requirements.

Summary

The Enquete Zapier integration helps you send survey responses automatically to Google Sheets and other applications.

To create a workflow, select Enquete as the trigger, connect your account, choose the survey event, add a destination application, map the response fields, test the workflow, and publish the Zap.

For most workflows involving finished survey submissions, use survey.response.completed.
